Take a Bite, Save a Life
Esther Saunders, owner of Bite Me Food‘s, lost her 20 year old brother, Daniel, to suicide. Through this devastating loss Esther developed a passion for suicide prevention.
Esther stated “Part of what makes suicide so prevalent is the silence and stigma around talking about suicide. We need to start talking about suicide. Help is available for those struggling with suicide ideation.
Unfortunately, Daniel did not ask for help. Suicide is preventable, by asking for help, and seeking professional help.
“You are not alone! Reach out. There is help.”
As well as being a chocolatier and baker, Esther is also a mental health and drug & alcohol counselor. She combines her two passions—making stellar eats and treats and spreading a message of hope and healing.
When you purchase a Bite Me Foods treat you are saving lives!” We donate 5% of all proceeds to suicide prevention efforts.
We also hire and mentor individuals with addiction and mental health issues providing on the job training and mentorship. We thank you for supporting Bite Me Foods.
So please Take a Bite – Save a Life!
